Originally this was meant as a kind of coloring book to keep kids quiet during church.

So, traditionally, a lot of samurai would have one set of armor that belonged to their family and that would be all decorated with family colors and used by whomever in the family was conscripted into the army.

The idea here was that of the 2000 some odd boys who volunteered for Helaman's army, a lot of them would probably have similar formed but individually decorated armor. I provided the base form and it's up to the color-er to decide what colors go into the armor and, more importantly, in the circle, what individual herladic crest goes in the circle and on the banner.

Feel free to copy and color and then post your versions in the comments section.

Side note: most of my anime style Book of Mormon Characters were drawn while I was in Japan as a missionary. Smaller copies were made and distributed to kids to color during church so they could be quiet. A big stack of these once lasted a whole primary the better part of a general conference.

Ok, I have to say these are some of the best drawings I've seen! We're going over the "Army of Heleman" song in Primary and these would be amazing to give to the kids to color.
